Surviving your first concert

It can feel like a second job before you even reach the door. It is worth it. Here is what helped me.

Tickets

Sales are often split into presale and general sale, and a fan club membership may be needed for the first round. Make your accounts early, test your payment method and buy only through the seller named in the official announcement.

If a resale deal looks too good, it is. Screenshots of tickets are not tickets.

Lightsticks

Most groups have an official lightstick that syncs with the show over Bluetooth. Bring fresh batteries, register your seat if there is an app, and do not panic if pairing takes a few tries.

Fan chants

Fan chants are the shouted bits between lines. Fan clubs usually share guides before a tour. Learn the title track and let the people around you carry the rest.
